This morning went GREAT at home! Chase and I got a good, FULL, night of sleep without Miles here to wake us up or kick us all night :)! (God love him) Little Chase slept until almost 7:45, which is LATE for him! He was so happy and in such good spirits when he woke up...it was like he was saying "Today is the day! Let's do this!"
He was of course wet when I got him up, but we ate breakfast and went at it in the bathroom. I altered the schedule a little today at first going 11 minutes on the potty and 4 minutes off, then eventually 10 minutes on and 5 minutes off. He did a great job going pee in the potty this morning and didn't have any accidents off the toilet! HORRAY CHASE!!! Around 11:30 we were both over being cooped up in the tiny bathroom so I put a pull-up on him (I knew he probably had to poop) and went to do a few things around the house and give Chase a break. He kept wanting to climb in to bed because I'm sure he was freezing without pants on all morning - poor buddy! :( He did poop in his diaper at that point, but we went to the potty and dumped it in there and flushed, again reiterating that "poo poo goes in the potty". He liked the flushing again.
Chase had another great day at Brown with no accidents and graduated to 10 minutes on the potty and 5 minutes off, with underwear on when he's off. Once we got home he had a couple more poopy accidents in his underwear, but went pee pee in the potty one last time after bath time and in to bed for the night! I am SO OVER this! But we will push on and get this down, if it kills me (which it might!)
It is, not surprisingly, SOOOOO much easier to potty train Chase without the distraction of Miles! I love him dearly, but he is a MESS! I have just come to the realization that this process is probably going to take much longer than I would like for Chase, so I am just going to try and potty train them both at the same time when Miles comes back from Jackson! Call me crazy but I may as well try! I am spending 90% of the day in a tiny bathroom so we might as well knock them both out! Ha! :)
