When I first started sharing Chase's diagnosis with people a lot of them asked me how I knew to get him tested? Believe me, we didn't (at first). We agonized over it and read and researched endlessly online before we got a formal diagnosis. As I stated in an earlier post, our regular pediatrician disregarded our concerns about Autism, but we did enough "online checklists" to come to our conclusions to set up an appointment with a developmental pediatrician.
