A Season of Thanksgiving

So much to be thankful for this year!  I am thankful first and foremost for God's blessings and grace on our whole family this year.  We have been on a roller coaster of emotions and uncertainty for the majority of the year and God never once let us down.  I am thankful that this whole process brought us closer to God, closer as a family, and deepened our Faith in Him.  It would have been easy to turn our backs and ask "why?" but I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and if Chase having Autism is a way to grow and share our faith, then we will gladly embrace that!

I am thankful for our move to Nashville.  It has been the biggest blessing, not only for Chase being at The Brown Center, but for all of us.  "Big" Chase got a new and better job and is much happier.  I am blessed to get to stay home with the boys and oversee all of Chase's therapies while having special one on one time with Miles.  I love all the fun things to do, with the boys and as a family, that Nashville has to offer (not to mention all the great places to eat and shop)!

I am forever grateful for all the sacrifices that our families and friends made for us to get to this point.  I can't thank my parents enough for letting us move in, helping with the move, and coming to Nashville almost every week or two since we have moved to help in one way or another...on top of all the things they have had on their own plates.  My brother and sister - I am always thankful for the close relationships we share and the love they have for our boys!  I am thankful for Chase's parents and all their help, and most recently for giving Chase his new "voice" (the iPad he uses to communicate).  I am thankful for my business partner and best friend Lindsey.  She selflessly bought me out of Mags and Lulu to "free me from that burden" so that I could focus on Chase and trying to get him to Nashville.  It was not her dream to own a store by herself, but she took on all the stress and responsibility: mentally, physically and financially, so that I could move on and focus on Chase.  For that I will forever be thankful!  And our dear friends Abbie and Wes...They have been with us through everything from day one, before we were even married.  Abbie was my co-worker, they were our neighbors, our marriage counselors, our role models of how marriage and raising a family should look like...so many things to us I can't even list them all!  This special couple will always hold such an important and sacred place in our hearts.

The list goes on.  I know there are many many more people who played important roles in our move to Nashville and we will always remember and be thankful for everything!  So this Thanksgiving our hearts are especially filled with THANKS and BLESSINGS!

The only picture I could get of the boys together at Thanksgiving! :)  They are BUSY BUSY BUSY and always on the move (in different directions).

Caught this sweet shot...Chase LOVES his daddy.

So thankful for these crazy boys!
