Today we made iced Christmas cookies! I let go of my OCD tendencies and let the boys make a TOTAL mess and it was soooo much fun! :) I was pleasantly surprised at how much they really enjoyed and took part in this. In years past Chase has not been the slightest bit interested in helping, but he was totally engaged this year. He helped me roll out the dough, push down the cookie cutters and squish the dough back up to roll out again. He even helped ice and pour sprinkles EVERYWHERE! He has come leaps and bounds from this time last year! What a Christmas blessing!
As for Miles, he liked drawing in the flour and was more interested in eating all the icing than anything else (imagine)!
