Happy Birthday Miles!

I usually post about Chase and Autism-related issues, but today I want to post about Miles!  We celebrated Miles's 2nd Birthday on April 14.  I still cannot believe how fast these past 2 years have gone and that my baby is already 2!!! :(

Although Miles got LOTS of great gifts for his birthday; it has become more and more apparent these past few months what Miles's gifts to US are...

This kid has MORE personality than any 2 year old I know.  God put this child in our lives to keep us laughing, smiling and constantly guessing!  He is always saying and doing the most off the wall things that never cease to make me laugh, even on my worst days.  He is truly a blessing in our Autism-filled days and brightens up the room with his antics and smiles! 

Aside from his hilarious personality, he is the BEST little brother and peer model to Chase.  I can already see a sense of protectiveness he has for Chase too and the things he is teaching Chase, just by default, are priceless!  It's the sweetest thing.  He's always looking out for Chase and asking for "bubba" when Chase is at school.  He LOVES his big brother more than anything in the world! :)

We celebrated both the boys birthdays when we were in Jackson for Easter.  We did an Easter Egg hunt and got to see lots of our sweet friends!  Thank you again to EVERYONE to helped us celebrate!
