Our 1700 Square Foot Haven

1700 square feet has been an adjustment from our 2500+ sq. ft. house we had in Jackson.  It's not a bad thing, just an adjustment.  I like how quick and easily it can be cleaned.  It's quaint.  It's updated.  It's "homey".  And the best thing about this house is it's location!

We had no idea when we signed the lease for this house how convenient the location would be.  We had originally wanted to live in Franklin or Brentwood so that we would be in Williamson County because of the school system.  But like I said in a previous post, we were so tired of searching for rentals we just took what we could get when we found it.

Chase's school, The Brown Center for Autism, is located in Berry Hill.  As it turns out, it is only 10 minutes from our house!  I consider this a "God Thing".  With all the driving I do and the struggles to keep the boys awake in the car, it is a blessing we only have to drive 10 minutes to school.  I hear several moms of other kids at BCA talk about how cranky and hard it is on their kids when they fall asleep during their 20-30 minute commute to school then have to be woken up.  God knew what he was doing putting us where we are!  I am convinced.
